Studied marble sculpting in Italy with the masters
Autumn 2003 found Elizabeth marble sculpting in
Italy. She worked with some of the last great Pietrasanta master
artisans in a setting where stone carving has been a way of life
for centuries.
For this artist, the process felt like life; chipping
away the layers allowing the liberation of essence from the confines
of the outer shell to reveal the true self.
