 "Our
daughter's first birthday was coming up and I wanted a special way
to commemorate her first year.
Elizabeth had been there supporting
me throughout the last trimester of my pregnancy through massage
and so the three of us were bonded.
It was very natural to ask Elizabeth
to put her other talents to work to create something that would
capture Katherine in that beautiful, innocent time of life. The
session took about four hours in which we tried to get Katherine
to sleep outside and in her crib. I think she only slept for about
a half hour (instead of her usually 2 or more hours - she's a very
curious child!). Despite the moving figure, Elizabeth was able to
capture Katherine's sweet repose."
